In the wake of India's Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, tensions between India and Pakistan escalated sharply. Starring: Ajith Kumar & Trisha
Vasu (Ajith), a final year college student is happy go lucky. But he is forced to contest elections in the college after being persuaded by his friends (Arun (Nithin Sathya) and Venkat Prabhu). He, however, incurs the wrath of the local MLA Varadharajan (Charan Raj), whose son, studying in the same college, also contests the elections.

In the course of events, the MLA's gang attacks Vasu and his friends. It's here that Vasu's father (Vijayakumar), a tea shop owner, advises the students to take a plunge in politics and teach the bad apples like Varadharajan a lesson. Taking cue from his words, Vasu does indeed take the plunge in politics with the backing of college students and even files nomination for the Assembly election in Kumbakonam constituency. Varadharajan is naturally annoyed and angry at the presumptuousness of Vasu and tells him to back off from the elections. But a relentless Vasu goes ahead with his plans. The rest is a sequence of events by which Vasu wins the admiration of masses and succeeds in getting elected as a MLA.

Unfortunately, Varadharajan, unable to digest the defeat, plays a trick and burns a primary school and Vasu is blamed for the death of innocent children. He gets sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment. After serving the term, Vasu comes out of prison only to take revenge on Varadharajan. It's a happy ending with Vasu holding the hands of his long-love Bhuvana (Trisha Krishnan).

There are over 250 Index Funds in India and picking the best one for your passive investing portfolio can be quite the task. And so, in this video, we narrow down from a pool of 153 equity-oriented index funds to just 11 index funds that I'll like in my long-term index fund portfolio. I've call this my IPL, my Index Premier League because just like an IPL team where one needs the right combination of batsmen and bowlers for a winning season, an investment portfolio requires the right mix of index funds to ensure robust performance.

In the creation of this video, I delved into the performance of index funds, looking at trailing, rolling and even annual performance as I looked at 4 categories of index funds:
1. Broad-market index funds such as the Nifty 50, Nifty Next 50, Nifty Midcap 150 etc. that are market cap based
2. Strategy index funds such as the Nifty 200 Momentum 30, Nifty Alpha 50, Nifty Midcap 150 Momentum 50, Nifty 50 Value 20 etc. that are based on single or multiple factors; these are also called factor-based or smart beta index funds
3. Sectoral and thematic index funds panning areas like banking, financial services, auto, IT, healthcare, pharma, realty, housing, manufacturing, infrastructure etc. These indices often go through business cycles, resulting in fluctuating performance
4. International index funds such as the Nasdaq 100 and Hang Seng Tech Index which ensures our index fund portfolio has global exposure and diversification

Throughout the many live-action Superman movies and TV shows that have come over the last few decades, there have been various approaches to Lex and Clark Kent's dynamic. With Superman having Hoult and Corenswet play the respective characters, as the actors are close in age in real life, the DC Universe may be taking the long run with Lex and his hatred for the Man of Steel. Given the long history they have in the comics, the Lex and Superman rivalry could be fleshed out to last for several years in the new franchise.

With Gunn's DC Universe, this could also be the first movie franchise to finally have Lex perhaps even take Superman on physically. From his famous Lexosuit to the DC arcs where he even has powers, the DC Universe can tackle Superman and Lex's war, both philosophically but also in a way that brings new stakes for their relationship in the world of live-action. If Lex even ends up being one of the main antagonists of the DC Universe, the Superman movie can perfectly seed the idea for him to get a larger role in future films and TV shows.

While Bhishma lives with their mother in the village, Arjun and Suraj live in the city. Suraj gets employed at a poultry farm, but finds out that this is just a front for drugs like cocaine. His attempts to get this information to the police and his brother are in vain, as he is captured by the owners of the poultry farm, who owe their allegiance to notorious gangster Dhaman Chamunda. When Dhaman comes to know about Suraj, he decides to teach Arjun and Bhishma a lesson – first by splitting them up over the property they own in the village, then by framing Bhishma for the death of Suraj. With anger and hostilities reigning high amongst the two remaining brothers, the Chamunda Brothers decide to take full advantage of this situation, and watch in glee as the two brothers go against each other, in a fight to death. Bhishma and Arjun clear their misunderstandings but when their stepmother is killed by the Chamunda Brothers they unite and kill them one by one until eventually destroying their empire.
