Here are the election headlines for Saturday 15 June.

Sir Keir Starmer has ruled out raising capital gains tax on the sale of people's main homes. He said he can "absolutely guarantee" it wouldn't happen over the next parliament.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been in Switzerland for a peace conference on Ukraine, alongside other world leaders. He said he wants to find "lasting peace on terms that are acceptable to Ukraine".

The SNP's Kate Forbes was in South Lanarkshire focusing on Brexit and claiming trade barriers have gone up since the UK left the European Union, and have had a negative effect on the food and drink industry.

Liberal Democrats leader Sir Ed Davey was campaigning with a focus on crime – his party wants to scrap elected police and crime commissioners to release funds which will help frontline policing.
