"Sky Force" is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action drama film inspired by India's first airstrike during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. The film is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, with a screenplay by Sandeep Kewlani, Aamil Keeyan Khan, Carl Austin, and Niren Bhatt. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, Amar Kaushik, and Sahil Baber Khan under the banners of Jio Studios, Maddock Films, and Leo Films UK Production.

The star-studded cast includes:

Akshay Kumar as Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, a character inspired by O.P. Taneja VrC.

Veer Pahariya as T. Vijaya, marking his acting debut, portraying a character inspired by Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya MVC.

Sara Ali Khan as Vijaya's wife.

Nimrat Kaur as Ahuja's wife.

Sharad Kelkar in a supporting role.

Mohit Chauhan in a supporting role.

Manish Chaudhari in a supporting role.


The film's music features songs composed by Tanishk Bagchi, with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir, Irshad Kamil, and Shloke Lal. The background score is composed by Justin Varghese. Notably, the 1963 classic "Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon" is included as an emotional tribute to India's brave soldiers.

"Sky Force" is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 24, 2025, coinciding with India's Republic Day celebrations.
