Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday replaced 'India' with 'Bharat' in his Twitter bio after the Opposition named their alliance 'I.N.D.I.A'. Sarma also used the phrase 'BJP for Bharat' instead of India as he tweeted about a "civilisational conflict" between Bharat and India.

"The British named our country as India. We must strive to free ourselves from colonial legacies. Our forefathers fought for Bharat, and we will continue to work for Bharat," he said in a tweet.
