India - Political debate ends in punch up

A political crisis in a key Indian state degenerated into pandemonium Tuesday (21/10) as politicians traded punches and abuse before a confidence vote was to take place. Several ministers and the speaker of the house were hurt in the chaos, prior to a vote called to decide the fate of the Hindu nationalist government of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
