सरयू एक्सप्रेस में महिला सिपाही से दरिंदगी करने वाले मुख्य आरोपी अनीस को अयोध्या में पुलिस और एसटीएफ ने एनकाउंटर में मार गिराया है. वहीं इस मामले में दो अन्य आरोपियों को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. इस मामले में पुलिस ने आरोपियों को पकड़ने के लिए एक लाख रुपये का इनाम भी रखा था.

Anees, the main accused who brutalized a female constable in Saryu Express, has been killed in an encounter by the police and STF in Ayodhya. The police have arrested two other accused in this case. In this case, the police had also kept a reward of Rs 1 lakh for catching the accused.
